Shakira Wants to Have Babies Soon
She’s best known for her gyrating hips and signature sound, but Shakira would like to be known as ‘mommy’ in the not-too-distant future.
The “Wherever, Whenever” songstress has confessed to having baby fever and hopes to conceive with her boyfriend when her upcoming tour comes to an end.
Shakira told press, “My body feels like it is asking to reproduce, to have a huge belly and carry babies. And when the baby comes, I don’t want to be in the middle of 100,000 projects.”
She also noted that she has a true oral fixation. “I’ve always lived through my mouth. It’s my biggest source of pleasure: what I say, what I sing, the kisses I give, the chocolate I eat.”
n 2007, after her “Oral Fixation” tour Shakira needed a break. Instead of indulging in a luxury vacation, she decided to study history at UCLA.

In a recent interview with the UK’s The Guardian, the colombiana explained it all.
“I used to wear a cap and a big backpack,” Shakira said. “I looked like a boy. I didn’t get recognized.”
She went by one of her middle names, Isabel, and never let suspicions that she was the very famous singer of “Hips Don’t Lie” get past just that.
As simple as her plan was, it worked. Professor Robert Cleve, who taught the Introduction to Western Civilization: Ancient Civilizations from Prehistory to Circa A.D. 843 class, had no idea “Isabel” was an international superstar.
“She told me she was visiting from Colombia and that she was just doing this for her own enlightenment and enjoyment,” Cleve told the Associated Press in 2007. “She looked like just an ordinary student. She wasn’t flamboyant…she didn’t act like a big celebrity or anything.”
The professor also added Shakira sat near the front of the class and regularly stayed afterward to ask questions.
What a nerd! We love it!
According to her manager, Shakira actually loves to study and learn about the countries she visits in her spare time.
